NEW: SSECR Juniors Club - Coffee/Tee and Talk

We are pleased to inform you about a new Junior Network within the Swiss Society for Early Childhood Research. As a Junior Member of SSECR you automatically receive information about this new Network.

Dear SSECR-Juniors

We are pleased to inform you about a new Junior Network within the Swiss Society for Early Childhood Research. As a Junior Member of SSECR you automatically receive information about this new Network but feel free to report back if you do not wish to receive any further information.

The Junior Network adresses

- junior researchers (PhD-Students and early Post-Docs) and
- practitioners who have at least basic understanding about research (e.g. through a Master Degree) and would like to learn more.

To be a member of the junior network one has to be a junior member of SSECR. Potential new members are always welcome to participate in an event to get familiar.

SSECR Juniors Club - Coffee/Tee and Talk

In this first newsletter we inform you about our first Project "SSECR Juniors Club - Coffee/Tee and Talk“:

The aim is to get in touch with each other in a relaxed atmosphere with coffee or tee and to connect Early Career Researchers in the field of early childhood research.
Every month there is the opportunity for a zoom-meeting at a specific date (changing workdays) at 1pm where we first split up in random groups of two to get to know each other in person (It is easier to communicate this way than in big groups). At 1:15pm there will be a short, creative presentation by one of us about a PhD- or work related project. At 1:30 there is the possibility to opt out and get back to work (since your mug will probably be empty by then) or keep discussing the project and other issues that you would like to talk about among peers. This discussion will be moderated (e.g. by a member of the organising committee).

Our first “Coffee/Tee and Talk” session will take place on Tuesday March 30th at 1pm.

Conny Rüdisüli will present her PhD project "Playfulness in the context of the playful learning environment in day care centers and kindergartens" and Johanna Quiring will moderate the session.
