Pre-Conference and Annual Meeting 2021: Registration is open!

It has been long in the making, so we are delighted to announce that registration for the Pre-Conference and Third Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society of Early Childhood Research, themed "#comebackstronger", is now open.

Dear Members and Friends of the Swiss Society for Early Childhood Research

It has been long in the making, so we are delighted to announce that registration for the Pre-Conference and Third Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society of Early Childhood Research, themed "#comebackstronger", is now open. Giving the evolving circumstances around the Covid-19 pandemic, the Organizing Committee has decided to hold the conference on site in Zurich at the University of Applied Sciences in Special Needs Education (HfH). However, virtual participation will also be possible.

During the two days an exciting and varied program with renowned keynotes Prof. Dr. med. Oskar Jenni, Prof. Dr. Lieselotte Ahnert and Prof. Dr. Daniel S. Schechter, as well as oral and poster presentations by early childhood researchers, awaits you. For the first time, there will be a preconference. This year’s preconference will be jointly organized by the Alliance Enfance, the Perinatal Research Special Interest Group and the Junior Network.

The conference will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 23rd & 24th,2021.

The registration deadline is Friday, October 29th, 2021.

For this year's Perinatal Research Special Interest Group Symposium submissions are still welcome. Click here for more information. Abstract submission deadline is Friday, September 10th, 2021.

Registrations will be considered in order of receipt. The participation fee is payable after confirmation of registration. The conference agenda with detailed information on the contributions can be viewed online via your Conftool account.

Please note:
The number of available on-site slots is limited in order to comply with hygiene measures and the recommendations of the Federal Government and the Canton of Zurich. Due to the current situation and depending on the development of the pandemic, the SSECR reserves the right to host the conference fully online or hybrid. Further information on the implementation will follow at appropriate time.

We would appreciate your assistance in widely distributing the conference program to your networks and we look forward to hopefully seeing you in Zurich.
