Dear Members and Friends of the SSECR

We are pleased to present the second edition of "News from Science". With this series, Alliance Enfance and the Swiss Society for Early Childhood Research (SSECR) would like to share knowledge from Swiss research on early childhood with a broad audience in an accessible format.

The first two editions are published as part of the project "Info-Feed Early Childhood" and thus with the support of the Federal Office of Public Health, the State Secretariat for Migration and Swiss Health Promotion.

This second edition of "News from Science" is focused on the topic of health in early childhood with three contributions. In the selection of the contributions, we have considered that they are also thematically relevant for non-medical professionals who are interested in (early) child development and the long-term effects of early development risks.

We welcome your feedback on this publication and your suggestions or topic requests for future issues.
