Interdisciplinary Junior Academy
The Interdisciplinary Junior Academy of the SSECR offers an inspiring environment to PhD students and postdocs across Switzerland working on early childhood to reflect on interdisciplinary research. It provides opportunities for sharing one's own research and obtaining constructive feedback and ideas, it offers useful instruments for improving writing skills and it promotes dialogue between disciplines and networking opportunities.

"Thinking together and out of the box"
Second Interdisciplinary Junior Academy has been cancelled due to insufficient registrations.
The first Interdisciplinary Academy for Early Childhood Researchers took place online from May 3-5, 2021 with the topic: "Communicate across disciplines and beyond the borders of science". A total of 11 juniors from all over Switzerland participated. The academy was accompanied by six senior researchers from the SSECR board. The opening was given by Claudia Meier Magistretti on the topic "Early Childhood in Switzerland: Current Challenges". The second focus was on Science-Practice/Policy-Transfer. Eliane Fischer from Alliance Enfance, Antje Horsch and Patricia Lannen participated in the interdisciplinary exchange and joint discussion with the Juniors. We look back on three successful days - many thanks to all!
Best regards,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Academy
