News from Science
News from Science is a joint publication of Alliance Enfance and the SSECR, created to make knowledge from Swiss early childhood research clear, accessible, and relevant for a broad audience. Published twice a year in three national languages (German, French, and Italian), each edition presents key findings from current Swiss research focused on a specific theme.
This issue of News from Science features three articles dedicated to the theme “Challenges Around Birth”. The contributions explore:
-
the illusion of choice surrounding childbirth
-
preterm birth as a risk factor for language development
-
the relationship between sleep patterns, chronotype, and the mental health of women with gestational diabetes
If you would like to share exciting findings from your research with a broad audience, including researchers, practitioners, and policymakers in Switzerland, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at info@earlychildhoodresearch.ch.
Charter
Alliance Enfance and the Swiss Society for Early Childhood Research (SSECR) want knowledge about the formative phase of early childhood to be created, passed on, mobilized and heard. The new charter on "Knowledge transfer between science, practice and policy in early childhood" is intended to motivate people to take part in the exchange of knowledge.
The charter is widely supported! You can also sign the charter at:
