Junior Network Activities

The SSECR Junior Network currently hosts two Writing Retreats each year, as well as a dedicated session during the Annual Meeting. More ideas for other events are always welcome.

Potential new members are always welcome to participate in an event to get familiar.

The SSECR Junior Network adresses Junior researchers in the field of early childhood who

1. are enrolled in a doctoral program OR
2. have completed doctorate and are in early post doc phase OR
3. are in preparation for (seriously considering) a doctorate and are affiliated with a Swiss University.

You automatically become a member of the junior network when you become a member of SSECR and the conditions above apply to you. As a junior member, you benefit from discounted prices for SSECR events and gain excellent interdisciplinary networking opportunities:

• In addition to Junior Network activities, you can take part in Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and join the SSECR Expert Database — actively used to connect with experts in specific research areas.
• You can also contribute to SSECR knowledge transfer projects, for example by participating in News From Science to share the results of your research with a wide audience across all language regions of Switzerland.
• The SSECR supports you in disseminating information about your current projects and publications through our social media channels and newsletter.
